Holy shit balls!!! We almost forgot to post this week’s episode! Actually, it is all Katie’s fault. She had family visit over the holiday weekend and she forgot to edit the episode and get it ready to post… so here we are… after midnight in the middle of the week… working on this episode in a panic (in this case, we happens to be Katie)… way to go, Katie. Jeez.
Needless to say, there wasn’t time to do the video that Katie mentioned but we found some links to good tutorials on stamp carving with both lino block and the Speedy-cut we talked about.
Here is a great one for block printing with two colors using lino block, like Sharon was talking about.
And here is one using a product that is very similar to Speedy-cut (it also demonstrates tools pretty well). http://youtu.be/tnGAxq4UYbU
You can find any of these products on Amazon, EBay, or at most craft and art supply stores. Just search for them by name.
Here are some images of the materials and tools the gals talked about for this episode.
And here is what happens if you are not careful when using the tools! This is Katie’s finger bleeding after a stamp carving incident… she found this picture when looking through her old images for stamp application examples.
These are a few lino block stamps Katie has cut over the years.
And here are some stamp she has done with the Speedy-cut.
Here are a few projects that she has used stamps in… there are some slap-art stickers; an Altoids tin shrine to Edgar Allen Poe, and a thank you post card.

Hot damn! A new episode. What a treat for a cold rainy Wednesday morning. Just in time for my drive to work. Nice bleeding finger. I got one of those cut proof gloves for Christmas after a similar incident.

What are these cut proof gloves you speak of?!?!? I must have one! Or a pair??? Oh tell me they come in pairs. Buying a lone glove will make my brain all itchy.
