Episode 46: Puppet Madness

Check out the Pintrest board for this episode here!

Well, we kind of let the cat out of the proverbial bag about one of the surprises we are working on for the one year anniversary episode… but The Gals really do have puppets on the brain so this episode just couldn’t be avoided. Katie is recovering from eye surgery this week so the blog post is going to be short this time but be sure you listen to the episode because it is full of the usual Sharon + Katie antics and lots of information.

The gals covered a few different types of puppets in the show but if you want to read a little more about each then we suggest this Encyclopedia Britannica article http://www.britannica.com/EBchecked/topic/483732/puppetry/28719/Types-of-puppets.

They also went over way to make puppets but here is a cool wiki article that gives some great instruction. http://www.dogpile.com/dogpl.bko.y/search/web?fcoid=417&fcop=topnav&fpid=2&q=Different+kinds+of+puppets+&ql=

If you have any awesome things to share about puppets please email The Gals at twoartsygals@gmail.com. Remember to subscribe to the podcast on Stitcher or iTunes and leave us some cool feedback too. We will be back next week with an episode about eggs! Yep, eggs! Crafts you can do with them, ways to use them in your mixed media art, and some cool ways to color them for your spring/Easter celebrations.
