e wanted you to know just a little about what went into making this so as briefly as we can: This planned out by Loni and Katie and then hand drawn on the fabric by Katie. The trees are Tyvek painted with acrylic paint and heat treated to produce texture. The camper is made from silver tissue lame’ which has been ironed on with appliqué binding and then hand stitched with sliver thread. The cloud was hand felted onto the fabric. All embroidery was done by hand by both Katie and Loni and uses a combination of backstitch, stem stitch, line stitch, satin stitch, French knots, and turkey work. The straws are made from drinking straws and foil tape, and were painted with acrylic paint and sharpies. The background of the image was colored in using watercolor pencils that were lightly wetted with a damp paint brush to blend color.

This was a real labor of love and we can’t wait to find out who will be the lucky recipient! Good luck to you all!

This week The Gals talk about their love of writing and receiving letters in an effort to get you all excited about hand writing letters. It was a fun and silly episode and we hope it inspires you all to write more letters.
